"On new year’s eve day, our 4-year old springer “Cash” had to wear an E-collar to keep him from licking an open wound. Our 7-month old springer puppy “Fergi” was the perfect baby sister supporting her big brother during this “humiliating” time. To comfort them, we listened to your calming doggie holiday CD….in the picture they look pretty relaxed."
"Buddy"
"Buddy loves music. He always goes to his favorite spot on our couch when we leave the house and put on Janet Marlow's "Relaxation Music for Dogs and Cats CD." I just had to share this photo of our Buddy." S. Rekas
"Arlo"
As he got older and his familiar world began to frighten him it was your music that soothed him. When I left for work your CD was in the player on repeat. When I returned from work Arlo would be so much more at peace. A few times though I would pull in the driveway and I knew something was wrong. Arlo appeared distraught. Sure enough, for whatever reason, the CD player had stopped.
We used to say he "knew his basics". No fancy commands for him. But his place to shine was roaming through the woods. In the wild he was "King Baby". Up and down the mountains he'd roam, but just one whistle from me and there he would be.
My "puppies"! Daisy is driving, Arlo called "shot gun", Sam and Big Joey in the back. I know you can't hear them...but they are all saying "THANK YOU" Janet! We love your music! We drift off and dream sweet puppy dreams! And it makes Mommy happy too!
Janet...from my heart...thank you so much! Madelyn
Hi Janet...my newest baby born to your music. He popped out calm and gentle like the rest.
It is so funny to see my first 2 born to the music last year as they race up the pasture when I crank up the CD!
They are so big now...Sera just turned one and Past will be one next month.
Interesting part is how a new yearling who I recently purchased from another farm is now totally in tune to the music too. He was a wild one when I brought him home and after a few days in the barn with the CD playing he calmed right down and is so mellow now when it is playing. He is usually the first in the pasture to hear the music and start the run up the hill! www.walkthatwalkranch.com
